Stephen Schlein’s love of the outdoors began growing up on the upper Texas Gulf Coast. Whether fishing for speckled trout and redfish or hunting waterfowl in the marshes and coastal inlets, his connection with the land began early. After graduating from the University of Houston, Stephen began his 20 plus years in the medical sales business first as a sales rep working for American West Medical and GE Medical, then as a sales manager, and finally as Vice President of Sales with Cryopen Medical. Having done the corporate coat and tie business, Stephen decided it was time to take his love of the outdoors and spend his second career doing what makes him happy…Selling Land!
Since switching gears and entering the real estate business Stephen each and every year of his career has been a multi-million dollar producer and has been awarded “Salesman of the Year” for one of the nation’s leading land sales companies in North America. Continuing to challenge himself, Stephen became a Real Estate Broker in 2017. As a Land Specialist in farms, ranches, recreational properties across Texas, Stephen takes the time to listen to buyers and sellers. He devises a plan based on his client’s objectives and executes that plan to the very best of his abilities. Stephen describes his style and sales approach as direct and no-nonsense.
Nowadays when Stephen is not showing land or closing a deal, you will find him spending time with his wife and family on their small farm outside Lufkin or somewhere in the outdoors pursuing his hobby of wildlife and scenic photography.
