San Saba Division

A native Texan, Bob Whitten was raised on a ranch northwest of Eldorado, Texas where he grew to love the outdoors, farming and ranching. He attended Texas A&M University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education and a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics. After college he worked in the banking business in Corpus Christi and Austin and moved to San Saba in 1985 as president of the Cattleman’s Production Credit Association, where he worked extensively with farmers and ranchers in the region. He bought a ranch in San Saba County where he continues to farm and raise cattle. In 2004 he was approached by a long time real estate broker in the county to join him in selling ranches in the area. Bob was able to combine his love for ranching with his financial background and found his calling in real estate sales.

Being in the farming and ranching business all of his life, Bob is very familiar with the unique needs associated with real estate ownership. He was a partner in Martin & Whitten Real Estate for years before teaming up with Mossy Oak Properties as the San Saba Division Manager. He and his wife Martha Leigh have four children who have all graduated from Texas A&M and 3 grandchildren that they adore. Bob enjoys hunting, fishing, raising cattle, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
