Born and raised in Lampasas, Ron has a thorough knowledge of the Hill Country. Ron enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including Texas A&M football and baseball games, fishing, hunting deer or dove, and going pig hunting with his brother Rex. He has recently developed an interest in predator calling and is experimenting with the challenge of deceiving & hunting wary predators like coyotes, bobcats, and foxes. Ron’s commitment to the community is evident by his support of the local high school sports, as well as, being a coach in Lampasas Youth Little League Association and Youth Upward Basketball. Ron married his beautiful bride Jaci in April of 2009. . Ron graduated from Lampasas High School in 1999 and subsequently successfully earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. After graduating from Texas A&M, he moved back home to go to work for his father at Bumpus Appraisal Service. In the fall of 2004, Ron earned his real estate sales license and joined his brother Rex at Bumpus Real Estate. Through the appraisal business and selling real estate, Ron has developed a strong knowledge of the real estate market in Lampasas and surrounding counties.
