As a Native Texan, Dan Houlihan knows the virtues of owning your own little piece of heaven on earth because he has been a land-owner in the Rock Springs area for over 20 years. After graduating with a degree in history from Saint Edward’s University in Austin and serving our nation in the United States Air Force, Dan went to work as a “land-man” in the oil & gas industry for the next 40 years. During this time, Dan learned an immense amount about the land, the people, the wildlife, and the oil and gas industry in the area. That job let Dan learn all of the details of land transactions, as well as how to treat land-owners and their property with the respect and dignity that they deserve.

Dan is an avid paddler and is a kayaking instructor, as well as a member of the Texas River Protection Association. He cherishes our natural rivers and streams, and the land that surrounds them. He takes his time to be thorough in his work, and to listen to the needs of his clients when assisting them through the process of buying or selling real estate. These skills, along with his sage advice and thorough understanding of real estate transactions keeps his clients at ease and makes the buying and selling process a joy to all involved.
